Results from National Junior Team Trials

Squamish, BC –The sun shone down on Squamish, BC this past weekend, creating ideal conditions for the 2010 National Junior Slalom Team Trials. The team trials - which consisted of four races - took part on the Mamquam River that runs just outside of the Squamish city limits. Although the river is situated in a serene and tranquil area, the racing this past weekend was anything but; both Saturday and Sunday were filled with excitement as Canada’s best junior athletes competed for their coveted spot on the National Team and get a chance at representing Canada at the Junior World Championships this July 8 – 11, 2010 in Foix, France.

Thanks to Coach James Cartwright and Junior Slalom Team manager Sherri Audet for their help and support during training week and at the race.
