Local Events
The
Club will not be holding local events this year (see LeBreton
Tailrace below).

Winter pool sessions, usually
scheduled from January to April, provide an opportunity to
practice stroke technique and learn a bombproof roll in warm
water. Watch for info in our fall website updates.
The LeBreton Tailrace
The
Tailrace course is closed for renovations for 2005. The Club
provides permanent flatwater gates behind the National Archives.
Parking on street on Cliff across from the Pooley Bridge is
available during the day & after hours & weekends behind the
Archives. Limited secure boat storage is available on site.

slalom practices are held on a daily basis throughout the
season. Contact Michal at 241-7673.

Equipment
Trailhead offers their VIP
program (5% on all purchases), Bushtukah offers 10% on all
regularly priced items excepting bikes.
The Club now has several boats
in the containers for use on site.
Whitewater Ontario Benefits
Besides
liability insurance, membership enables access to White Water
Ontario – sponsored instruction and the Minden Wild Water
Preserve on the Gull River. It also provides a collective voice
for whitewater in Ontario. For further details, refer to the

most popular ones. Members both new and old are encouraged to
register their interest, either as a participant or trip
coordinator, through

River Passes
Post Club ID pass in car window
for parking at Black's takeout on the Ottawa and spring parking
at ferme Guindon across the road from the Petite Nation.
Included in membership benefits. Remember parking at these sites
is a privilege.
