  Local Events

The Club will not be holding local events this year (see LeBreton Tailrace below).

For coaching questions: Contact Michal Staniszewski for info at

silverc2@sympatico.ca or 241-7673 for coaching info.

Also, national team member Jennifer Gratto runs courses for children and  adults (www.downtoearth.com , or 298-9254.)

Winter pool sessions, usually scheduled from January to April, provide an opportunity to practice stroke technique and learn a bombproof roll in warm water. Watch for info in our fall website updates.

 The LeBreton Tailrace

The Tailrace course is closed for renovations for 2005. The Club provides permanent flatwater gates behind the National Archives. Parking on street on Cliff across from the Pooley Bridge is available during the day & after hours & weekends behind the Archives. Limited secure boat storage is available on site. Contact Doug Corkery for details at dougsyl@magma.ca. Regular slalom practices are held on a daily basis throughout the season. Contact Michal at 241-7673. More on the Tailrace course.

Trailhead offers their VIP program (5% on all purchases), Bushtukah offers 10% on all regularly priced items excepting bikes.

The Club now has several boats in the containers for use on site.
